How Do I Build

Trick construction plans on being a homebuilder in Tuscaloosa and Northport for many years. We have worked very hard to build our reputation. We feel that our processes and procedures will convince you that we are “Tuscaloosa’s premier builder delivering high quality to satisfied customers”.

What To Expect When Building A Custom Home

We develop a construction schedule that will be followed for each new home. We coordinate with all the subcontractors and vendors to make sure the projects stays on schedule. We also coordinate with the owner or buyer at specific times to meet on the jobsite for review of progress and plan ahead for future work. We try to keep communication between ourselves and the new homeowner open and accessible so that mistakes and miscommunication are eliminated.

We have a written change order process that is used when a change or deviation from the original specifications occurs. This process will give the homeowner the cost of the change, and provides an estimated time frame if any delays in construction will result. This allows the homeowner to be aware of how the change will impact construction allowing them to make an informed decision.

We perform a final walk through with the homeowner prior to closing to address any items of concern. This gives one more set of eyes to ensure that the final product is one that makes both Trick Construction and the homeowner proud.
